What we collect when you book

Accounts

If you create an account, we store your email and a securely scrambled (hashed) password, and link your bookings to it so you can see them and book again faster.

Cookies

We use the cookies the site needs to work: to keep you signed in and to protect forms from forgery.

Visits

We count visits per IP address to understand where interest in our service comes from and to block abusive traffic. To improve our website, we also record how it's used: which pages you open, how long you stay and how far you scroll, the buttons and links you click, the site that sent you, and your type of device. A random number kept in your browser connects the pages of one visit. We never record what you type. These records stay with us, are deleted after a few months, and are linked to your bookings if you book with us.

When you sign in, we record the type of device and browser (for example "Chrome on Android"), its IP address and when it was last used, so you can see where you're signed in and sign out of other devices. These records are removed when you sign out.

Who we share it with

We don't sell your information.

Removing your information

Contact us and we'll delete your details and booking history, unless we need to keep a record for legal or tax reasons.

Advertising and website statistics

We use Google's tag (Google Analytics and Google Ads) on our public pages to count visits and to measure whether our ads lead to bookings. Google may set cookies and receives your IP address, the pages you open and the device and browser you use. When you book, it is told that a booking happened and its price, never your name, phone, email, address or confirmation number. We don't use the tag on pages you open while signed in as staff.

If your browser sends "Do Not Track" or Global Privacy Control, we ask Google not to store advertising or analytics data about your visit.

You can turn off personalized ads at https://adssettings.google.com, and learn how Google uses data from sites that use its services at https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
